The Twinkle Years is Hilda Violin Studio’s program, structured with the aim to prepare the student towards a Grade 1 proficiency.
Here, the student will build a sound technical foundation on the violin. The fundamentals of Music Theory will also be introduced to include areas such as time values, letter note names, the treble clef, line and space notes, treble clef notes, rhythms as well as learning about frequently used musical terms & signs.
Your child will be playing their violin with joy & confidence by the end of the year.
Program Details
This program is parent/guardian accompanied.
Parent/guardian participation & involvement required.
Ages: 6-8
Class size: 2 - 8 per class
Course length : 24 weeks
Class duration : 45 mins (weekly)
Venue : Mount Merrion
Materials Needed
Zaret Blue Foam Shoulder Pad (or similar for shoulder support).
Own Violin/Bow Violin starter Kit, 1/16, 1/10 or 1/8 sizes.
Notebook & Pencil.
Music Workbook Will Be Supplied.
